Business POA
Let a representative sell your shares in a UAE company and complete the transfer, even if you are not in the country.
Business POA
A share sale power of attorney lets a shareholder give someone else the authority to sell and transfer their company shares, in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE. It is usually arranged when the shareholder cannot be in the country to handle the sale and transfer formalities.
The transfer usually has to be signed before a notary and recorded with the licensing authority. We make sure the POA identifies the shares and sets any conditions for the sale, and the powers below can be extended where needed.

Yes. You can restrict it to a named company, a named buyer and a set number of shares. That way, your attorney cannot go beyond that one transaction, and the risk of misuse is reduced.
Most do, but each has its own rules. For example, the DED, along with many free zones, expects the POA to name the authority and may need to approve the draft first. It is best to check with the authority involved.
To avoid rejection, it should state the company’s name and licence number, the buyer’s name and details, the number and value of the shares, and the exact powers granted, such as signing the sale contract, filing forms and amending the licence.
Yes. Have it notarized in your home country and attested by the UAE Embassy, followed by legalization at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and an official Arabic translation made in the UAE. The POA is only legally valid once all these steps are complete.
