Business POA
Give a trusted representative the authority to manage every step of the sale or transfer of your business assets in Dubai or anywhere in the UAE.
Business POA
An assets sale power of attorney lets you give another person the power to sell or transfer your business assets in Dubai or any other emirate. It is most often prepared when a shareholder cannot travel to the UAE to complete the sale or transfer formalities in person.
It is also useful when you are closing a business, restructuring or leaving the UAE and need someone to sell equipment, vehicles, property or other assets for you. The powers can cover the whole transfer process, signing the sale agreement and shareholders’ resolutions, and dealing with the licensing authority on the shareholder’s behalf.
We describe each asset in detail and set clear limits on price, buyers, duration and where the authority applies, because authorities may turn down a POA whose powers are vague or too wide.
Transparent pricing
Simple, upfront pricing with no surprises. Choose the level of support that works for you.

Assets Sale POA
It is a legally binding authorization allowing a person you appoint, known as the attorney-in-fact, sell named movable or immovable assets for you within the UAE. These can include real estate, vehicles and equipment.
It is typically issued when the owner lives outside the UAE, cannot attend in person for medical or physical reasons, or would rather have a representative, lawyer or agent handle the sale to save time, for convenience or to keep the deal private. It is widely used for property sales, car transfers and the disposal of company assets.
It can be tailored to specific assets, including real estate such as land, villas and apartments handled by the Dubai Land Department (DLD), and vehicles such as cars, fleets and heavy transport handled by the RTA or the Police. It can also cover business assets like machinery, equipment and inventory, and other personal property such as yachts, artwork or luxury goods.
Yes, notarization is mandatory. A POA issued in the UAE needs notarization before a UAE Notary Public, which can be done in person or online. A POA signed abroad must be notarized by a notary in that country, attested at the UAE Embassy there, legalized by MOFA, the UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and given a certified Arabic translation.
It should describe each asset in detail, give the attorney clear power to negotiate, sign the sale agreement and collect the proceeds, allow them to represent you before government authorities, and state how long and where the authority applies. Regulators may reject a POA whose powers are unclear or too wide.
Yes, but only if the POA says so expressly. It needs to authorize the attorney to receive the funds, deposit them and handle the related transactions, since without that clause most authorities will refuse to let the attorney deal with the money.
If no period is stated, it is usually treated as valid for a year after it was notarized. Some departments may accept a longer period if the POA states it clearly and there is a good reason for it.
Yes. You can require your written approval before any sale is completed.
